Once you've contacted us we can organise a time and day for a designer to come and see you. We use iPad's to show the endless number of designs to choose from, real wardrobes that we have fitted in real houses, this is great for inspiration, whether it's a traditional, contemporary, practical or minimalist look that you prefer. The designer will bring samples of all the glass and wood colours so that you can see the colour combinations in the flesh.

The designer will be able to offer suggestions if needed, so that we can really make your space work for you, like… how many doors to go for? How big to have your shelving? Where to position the hanging space? What about shoe storage? And what about suit cases and bedding and other bulky items? We usually fit a top shelf that runs the full length of the wardrobe, this is positioned at just the right height to allow for ‘double’ hanging space, so the clothes have enough space to hang freely. Sometimes customers would rather have a single rail for longer things, with more space for storage above. What ever your preference, we can accommodate it!

The designer will accurately measure the space where your wardrobes are to be fitted, and using a laser technology, we check to make sure your floor, ceiling and walls are level. These usually run out slightly, and there is a certain degree of tolerance within the system, where needed, the fitter will scribe the surround framework to leave a vertical and horizontal opening.

Next we make the shelving units, these are biscuit jointed wherever possible to minimise the number of fixing blocks that are used. We always use heavy duty 'wipe clean' 18mm shelving as this is so much better, and is more durable than the thinner stuff. The drawers are assembled using an 18mm base and back, and steel sides, this make them really robust, and if required they are fitted with soft close as well.
